Behind the Scenes: Preparing for a Mac & Lilly Christmas
It’s that magical time of year again, the one filled with twinkling lights, beautiful scents, and that unmistakable feeling of love and togetherness. We’ve been quietly busy behind the scenes, getting everything ready to make this Christmas our most thoughtful one yet.
In our Cumbrian workshop, we’ve been tweaking designs, testing new ideas, and sourcing beautiful Christmas décor that truly captures the season’s spirit. From the soft glow of our new tea light and LED village houses to the charm of our garlands and hand-painted berry wreaths, every piece has been chosen to bring warmth and joy into your home.
We’ve also added a few extra-special touches this year, our velvet personalised Santa sacks (perfect for those big surprises), and our wooden stocking holders that can be personalised for the whole family, even the pets, complete with paw prints, ready to hang with care for the big day, our luxurious gift wrapping paper, each sheet arriving with a matching tag for that perfectly finished look.
We adore this season, the warmth of family gatherings, the comfort of a glowing fire, and that first waft of cinnamon and pine that instantly feels like Christmas. Although it’s a crazy busy time (which we secretly love!), there’s something truly special about creating beautiful, heartfelt gifts and décor that become part of people’s Christmas celebrations. It feels like such a privilege to play even a small part in those festive moments.
This year will feel a little different without our boy Max, who adored Christmas, from the rustle of wrapping paper to snoozing by the fire. Our teddy-loving boy, who could never resist a treat or anything that squeaked, will be dearly missed. We’ll be keeping his spirit close as we prepare for the season he loved so much.
