At Mac & Lilly, every sign begins life in our workshop here in Cumbria.
Before it ever reaches a front door, a garden gate or a family home, it's measured, cut, assembled and checked by hand. We spend far longer than we'd probably like to admit discussing fonts, spacing and the tiny details that most people would never notice, because we notice them.
Over the years we've been incredibly proud to see our signs become part of homes all over the UK. Along the way, we've also discovered some of our photographs and product descriptions appearing on other websites selling copies of our designs.
It's disappointing, of course, but more than anything we'd hate for someone to order expecting a Mac & Lilly sign and receive something that falls short of what they hoped for.

Every photograph you see on our website has been taken by us using signs we've made here in our workshop.
If you come across our photographs on other websites with unusually low prices, poorly written descriptions or listings that don't quite feel right, it's always worth taking a closer look before ordering.

We don't mass produce.
We don't import.
